Siem Reap is a tourist destination for only one reason - the temples of Angkor Wat, which are among the world's most magnificent historical monuments. The gateway to Angkor Wat, Siem Reap is a small colonial town that has been receiving temple visitors and tourists composed mostly of foreigners for over 100 years. So we have arranged our golf tours to allow for our guests to have ample time to visit these historic monuments.

Angkor Wat 2 Day Tour - Visit South Gate of Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat
Day 1 - This morning welcome to Rolous Group including Preah Ko, Bakong, Lo Lei; the Roluos group will bring you back to among the earliest large, permanent temples built by the Khmers and mark the beginning of the age of Khmer classical art. In the afternoon tour to Small Circuit including Prasat Kravan (Cardamon sanctuary) the structure is unusual in that it was not constructed by royalty, Banteay Kdei, Srah Srang (Royal Bath), Ta Prohm (Jungle Temple) is undoubtedly the most atmospheric ruin at Angkor should be high on the lit list of every visitor, Takeo is a stark and undecorated temple that undoubtedly would have been one of the finest of all Angkor's structures, Thomamanon and Chau Say Tevoda.
Day 2 - In the early morning, enjoy the sunrise at Angkor Wat, then start our tour to South Gate of Angkor Thom, then go to Angkor Thom(the temple) which was built by Angkor's greatest King, Jayavarman VII. The major attraction of Angkor Thom is the Bayon, whose exact function and symbolism is still unknown until now, then go to Baphoun which is one of the most spectacular of Angkor's temples in its heyday. Terrace of the Elephants was used as a giant reviewing stand for public ceremonies and served as a base for the king's grand audience hall. Terrace of the Leper King is another of Angkor's mysteries. In the afternoon visit the World Seventh Wonder - Angkor Wat, which is one of the most important archaeological sites in South-East Asia. Angkor Wat itself stretchs over some 400 sq. KM including forested area. Angkor Archaeological Park contains the magnificent remains of the different capitals of the Khmer Empire. In the evening view sunset at Phnom Bakheng Hill. At dinner we are entertained with a Khmer Traditional Dance Show.

Floating Village
In the morning, visit a silk farm and malpro tree field where we can see see the traditional silk making process of Cambodia. Then visit the War Museum. Then lunch at the local restaurant, Les Artisans d'Angkor - Chantiers Ecole where visitors can observe students learning traditional carving and finishing techniques. This time is a good break from the temple so that we will tour to floating village, and on the way we will experience one Cambodia pagoda and visit the daily life of Cambodian people. That is followed by a boat trip on Tonle Sap Great Lake to see the lifestyle of Cambodian fishermen. Tonlesap is famous for the basin of fresh water fish where there were 10 tons per Square KM in the 60's. We then visit the fresh water exhibition where we can see various kinds of fish in Tonlesap Lake.

Phnom Penh - City Tour
Visit the only hill in town with sacred sites called Wat Phnom, and then on to the Independent Monument. After a break for lunch at a local restaurant, visit Royal Palace, one of the most beautiful samples of Khmer achatecture in Cambodia. We see Throne Hall, Prasat Khemarin, Prasat Samren Phirum, Hor Preah Khan, Chan Chhaya, and Silver Pagoda where the king regularly does his warship. Then to the nearby National Museum where there is a good collection of post-Ankorian antiques. Then to River Front Park where the scenery is worth seeing before experiencing an exciting boat cruise along the Mekong River bank to see Phnom Penh City at night with breathtaking views along the river. At the end of the day, we will have dinner at a local restaurant.
