Those travelers familiar with French cuisine and fine food won't be disappointed in Hanoi. The city is incredibly vibrant during the day and early evening but slows down a bit at night. The construction in the area is a bit much at the moment so your trip to the course may take a bit of time but the new Vantri Golf Club which is nearest to Hanoi and Chi Linh Star Golf and Country Club are excellent golf courses. Ho Chi Minh City or better known to most as Saigon, is the real center of Vietnam and its most entertaining City. A clean vibrant city, Saigon has a lot to offer. For those of you who know Chiang Mai and had the good fortune of playing golf there, you will find some similarities in Dalat - although on a much much smaller scale. Located in the mountains of Central Vietnam, Dalat offers the same cool temperatures that one finds in Northern Thailand during the the Dry Season. Unfortunately there is only one golf course here, but it is one of the best in Vietnam.
